...a very well achieved mix of US influenced Power Metal, with a bit of Maiden in the melodies and a lot of progressive structures...I highly recommend this one in the hope their army will indeed grow. They certainly deserve so with this fine album.

... this is quite a varied album with power metal riffs, melodies and progressive twists walking hand in hand. Singer Sean Hetherington does an excellent job and the album also offers lots of great guitar work... The song material is very strong and the production is irreproachable...

... In terms of production and execution there is absolutely no room for criticism... It is good to hear that Great Britain continues to produce traditional quality Metal...

... highlighting all that is great about this band – powerhouse drums, driving rhythm guitar, well crafted guitar solos and powerful vocals... this new album will not only win them new fans I am sure but puts more established bands into the shade.

You'll get to hear 10 fine compositions, filled with great riffs and solos... My advice to all you metalheads is to get the album. It will definitely be one of the best Power Metal releases of 2007 and you're really gonna enjoy it.

Combine this throat with a hammering rhythm and triplet guitars and you know that this band deserves to be taken serious. Intense is like the name describes: lurid, showy and garish and the music will bang your head!

Mit As Our Army Grows ist Intense schon mit dem zweiten Album ein großer Wurf gelungen. Bleibt abzuwarten was diese Band noch erreichen kann. Ich befürchte eigentlich nur Gutes!!!
